Here's How to Submit for to us for Representation:

PLEASE NOTE: While we do represent both models and actors, we prefer models who also act and/or have some acting training. We are not a school or photo studio and therefore we are not starting out people with no experience or tools/training. We expect talent to hit the ground running, ready to be submitted for jobs once signed with the agency. If you submit and we are interested in you, we may schedule an appointment for you to come sit down and interview and audition for the agency. When you arrive, you will be expected to have the following already in place (or be prepared to obtain these before starting with the agency):

• Professional Headshot - digital and printed 8x10 version
• Resume listing experience and relevant training
• Minimum of basic auditioning training (from any qualified instructor)
• Actor's Access, Now Casting and Casting Network account
• Texas Work Permit (for minors)
• California Work Permit and Coogan Account (if minor interested in Hollywood submissions)
• Professional quality commercial portfolio (for models)
• TexasModelsAndTalent.com account established
• Acting Slate Video (currently optional, but highly recommended)
• Professionally Recorded Vocal Demo (for singers/musicians)
• Voice Over Demo (for those seeking voice representation)

The Austin Models & Talent Agency is always looking for new talent ages 5 and older. Please do not submit babies, we are not seeking to represent anyone under 5 years of age! Because we are primarily a land-based agency, we are only interested in talent who physically reside in the Central Texas area. If you cannot easily drive to Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, or similar areas for acting auditions and/or model go-see casting calls... please do not submit to us for representation. Exceptions may be made for "name" talent.

PLEASE READ THESE REQUIREMENTS CAREFULLY AND SUBMIT ACCORDINGLY

ACTOR / ACTRESS
Experienced actors should submit a headshot and resume, including training details. Inexperience actors should subscribe free to the Texas Models & Talent Forum and gain access to student and independent castings, workshop and acting class postings, and other things going on in the local Texas industry that can help them prepare for an acting career. In order to be considered for signing with this agency, we require that you come to us ready with a professional headshot, resume listing relevant experience and training, optional acting slate and/or performance video and demo reel, Actor's Access, Casting Network and Now Casting accounts, and we require that you have an account set up on the Texas Models & Talent Forum. All actors submitting to the agency should have professional headshots and a minimum of basic auditioning and cold reading training.

COMMERCIAL PRINT MODEL
We have no specific height requirement and consider all types and ages over 5 years, however, we do not represent alternative models (tattoos, piercings, unusual hair colors or cuts, etc.) as most of our clients are mainstream commercial in nature therefore we are not seeking models involved in Internet "glamour." We do consider experienced and inexperienced models. Submit full body and face photo(s); these do not have to be professionally taken but should be clear and in focus with decent lighting. Experienced models should provide a link to their portfolio online (no adult sites such as the Models in the Mayhem - signed talent may not maintain portfolios on adult oriented sites such as these). New models will be expected to build a portfolio of professional images before they can be submited for print jobs. You may build a portfolio with any photographers, as long as they have the ability and/or experience and credentials to shoot proper commercial, editorial, fashion, and lifestyle material. You may find free shoot opportunties at the Texas Models & Talent Forum.

PARTS MODELS
Submit clear professional photos of your intended "parts." Photos should focus on the part(s) and not have cluttered background. Hands should have long fingers free of scars, blemishes or large pores. You also should maintain perfectly groomed fingernails. Legs should be long, tapered, toned and free from cellulite, veins, scars or blemishes. These things hold true for most parts as well.

PROMOTIONAL MODEL
Submit a photo, your age, and whether or not you are TABC (not required, but helpful). Promotional models should be 18 years of age or older. 21 or older for TABC event work. We do staff a variety of promotional events ranging from beer and alcohol promotions, to tradeshows and conventions. We do not staff car show or bikini type events. Do not submit "Models in the Mayhem" links, only non-adult oriented portolio sites, please.

PHOTOGRAPHER
Submit portfolio link to your own domain website detailing your commercial work experience. No adult sites such as the "Models in the Mayhem." You should have your own domain name URL and have experience shooting commercially for actual mainstream commercial clients. We do not represent photographers for weddings, portraits, model portfolios, headshots, etc.

ANIMAL TALENT
Submit several clear photos of the animal, along with a description of any special training or previous work. We are seeking full grown animal talent, not puppies or kittens. Keep in mind that most needs are for pure breed animals (dogs, cats), unless highly trained - tricks, acting, etc.

VOICE OVER ACTORS
Send voice over demo reel via CD by regular mail, or link to online audio, or as an email attachment. Electronic submission is always preferred. Voice over demo must be of professional sound quality.

SINGERS
Submit photo, age, and vocal demo via CD by regular mail (or a link to your music online). We cannot consider anyone who does not have a professional sounding vocal demo.

Please submit only web size photos if sending via email. Full resolution pictures attached to an email will be deleted along with the submission.
