Because these are all one shot and small runs, of course, there is very little profit had from these sales... however, what profit there is (allbeit small) is put back into the "forum fund" which is used for our various charity events and to help offset some of the forum operating costs. NOBODY is required to purchase or use any of these items... this is just fun stuff that you can obtain if you want to!
Window Decals - Austin Models & Talent logo with web address
Professionally produced 6 inch vinyl stickers made specifically for car windows.
These are rated to last a minimum of 3 years in the sun, heat, cold, rain, and outdoor conditions.
Printed in the classic "Austin Models & Talent" colors of blue and red.
Application is easy, but make sure you apply it correctly:
1. Clean the window (or surface) where you wish to apply the decal.
2. Measure carefully where you want it so that it is centered and aligned straight when you do apply.
3. The individual logo and letters spelling out AUSTIN MODELS & TALENT and the website address are outline cut - some free floating and not attached to one another. If you do not apply properly, it will not come out right. The decal is sandwiched between two papers. The backside is a solid paper and is what needs to be taken off first. Leave the front paper (which is TRANSPARENT) on the decal until it is applied on the window (or surface). Remove the back paper and affix the decal exactly where you want it. Make sure it is straight!
4. Gently rub out any bubbles that may be behind the vinyl letters or logo.
5. Once you are satisfied that it is affixed properly, carefully peel away the front transparent sheet.
The vinyl can withstand heat, cold, water, etc. You may wash and/or clean your window or vehicle surface as normal without worrying about hurting the decal. Be careful if we have a freeze and you are scraping ice from your windows so that you do not rip or tear the lettering - it is not indestructable!!!
This can be applied to other things than just your car window. You can apply this on almost any surface.
Forum Fund
On a regular basis, we spend money to help people out. This ranges from paying for acting classes for individuals who are lacking their own ability and funds to do so... to purchasing headshots or comp cards for those who cannot do so on their own. We also provide prizes at some of the free shoots we attend - Halloween, in particular. Two years ago we gave away a free digital camera! This past year, we awarded huge stuffed animals to some of the children who attended. Costs for these, in part, are supported by this "fund." In addition, in 2005 we adopted a family for Christmas. They were in need of a kitchen table - as they had none. Donations helped purchase a nice new table for them. Nobody is required to donate anything - but if anyone wants to help support these nice things, feel free to do so at your own free will.
